We are a small retreat centre situated on the east coast of Ireland, inland from the coast approximately 6 kms, and nestled with views of Annagh mountain and rolling hills and not far from Croghan mountain. A stream flows at the edge of the property, and close by to beautiful walks in local forestry. Nearby is the sacred well Tober Patrick, and the hill of Tara.

Danu lodge rests on 4 acre site of beautiful gardens, and natural fields.  We are dedicated to helping to restore nature and to the return of oak and other native forestry.

We at Danu Lodge offer retreat and respite for the weary soul, and those who are undergoing deep transformational process and change during these very challanging times.

A Retreat may mean to pay a short visit to Danu Lodge for any of the therapies or workshops offered at the centre. To pop in for a chat, and walk the land. It may mean to stay for a week or two to regroup, rest, meditate, walk in nature, paint, write or just to be.

The idea we have at Danu lodge is to offer what Danu herself offers, which is recovery and renewal, with a sense of free flowing and relinquishing of what is no longer needed in the next stage of our life journey. Just as the Goddess is known to have provided for her warriors, and children when they came home from battle.
