Pregnancy in Depth for Acupuncturists
This course is designed to cover all aspects of pregnancy, birthing and the post-natal time period from both western medicine and chinese medicine aspects.
It begins with pre-pregnancy planning, common gynaecological conditions which affect fertility, nutrition to optimise fertility, charting the menstrual cycle, and through to conception.
The three trimesters of pregnancy, labour and the birthing process.
Last, but not least, the post natal period.
You will also be introduced to simple Chigong practices which you can practice and also can be shared with clients.
Kate Curtis RGN, RM, Dip Lic Acu, Dip CHM (Patent Formulae) is an Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine and Western herbal practitioner with a background in nursing and midwifery. Kate has a special interest in fertility, pregnancy and post natal care and currently practices as an Acupuncturist in Kilcoole, Co Wicklow and Danu Lodge, Co Wexford
There is accomodation at Danu Lodge if required.
