DESCRIPTION:Pregnancy in Depth for Acupuncturists \nThis course is designed to cover all aspects of pregnancy\, birthing and the post-natal time period from both western medicine and chinese medicine aspects. \nIt begins with pre-pregnancy planning\, common gynaecological conditions which affect fertility\, nutrition to optimise fertility\, charting the menstrual cycle\, and through to conception. \nThe three trimesters of pregnancy\, labour and the birthing process. \nLast\, but not least\, the post natal  period. \nYou will also be introduced to simple Chigong practices which you can practice and also can be shared with clients. \nKate Curtis  RGN\, RM\, Dip Lic Acu\, Dip CHM (Patent Formulae) is an Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine and Western herbal practitioner with a background in nursing and midwifery. Kate has a special interest in fertility\, pregnancy and post natal care and currently practices as an Acupuncturist in Kilcoole\, Co Wicklow and Danu Lodge\,  Co Wexford \nThere is accomodation at Danu Lodge if required. \nCourse Dates \n7&8 December 2024\nTime  – 9am registration and coffee.
