This is a day to nourish and learn methods of deep relaxation and self care, at the beautiful tranquil mountain setting of Danu Lodge.

We will start with simple guided meditation and then you will be shown simple movements which are used along with a certain meditative style of breath.  These movements origionate from a very ancient practice system from China, Korea and other oriental countries. It is deeply medative and relaxing. It is very easy to learn, and continue at home.

 Marriage of Heaven and Earth Qigong set of moves helps to open up and connect our upper body with our lower body which works also on the physical and emotional and spiritual levels. Enhancing the flow of energy to the internal organ systems, in particular the lungs and kidneys and heart and helping to releasing the energy of the Liver. These moves are particularly useful to assist in creating a stronger internal energetic system, which makes the resistance to flu, colds and viruses much more efficient. Deep relaxation will be as a result of this practice.

These Qigong moves assist in freeing up joints, relaxing muscle tension, strengthening sinews, assisting in relief of back pain, shoulder pain, and tension, lowering blood pressure, and creating an overall sense of wellbeing.

A simple lunch is provided.
